Diamond Phoenix is delighted to announce a new partnership with Swedish manufacturer Accalon. Accalon provide aisle-based storage and retrieval machines and pallet conveyor systems and Diamond Phoenix see this expansion as part of a continuing effort to offer clients a complete suite of material handling technologies.
The Vectura Storage and Retrieval Machine (SRM) is based on a flexible, modular design that is configurable to almost any application. The single and double masted cranes have the ability to handle single, double, triple, or multi-deep storage, one or multiple loads at a time, and several types of products, such as pallets or paper reels. In addition, numerous system options are available, including one or multiple cranes per aisle, aisle transfer, tailored load handling, cold storage and various input/output alternatives.
The company’s full range of pallet conveyor systems are also based on a modular design, taking advantage of the benefits of economy in manufacturing and simplicity of installation. The company is now able to fulfil all of a client’s conveying and handling requirements, including powered roller and chain conveyor, shuttle cars, pallet dispensers, turntables, profile gauges and vertical conveyors.
“We are very excited to take the many years of experience our staff has in the automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) industry and apply it to full distribution centre solutions. The addition of ASRS and Pallet Conveyor to our already complete technology offering will provide our customers with the most comprehensive solutions in the industry,” states Graham Boner, Sales Director of Diamond Phoenix.
Throughout the last few years, Diamond Phoenix has expanded its offerings considerably. In less than 3 years, the company has introduced a multi-bay vertical lift module, a vertical carousel, heavy-duty carousels and vertical lift modules, voice-directed picking systems and its own Warehouse Execution Systemtm software. This, in addition to its existing line of technologies and a growing portfolio of design and integration clients, positions Diamond Phoenix as a full-service material handling provider.
