Vectura Storage & Retrieval Machine
to Automate Pallet Handling

LEWISTON, MAINE - MARCH 1, 2006 - Diamond Phoenix today announced the award of a contract by Green Mountain Coffee Roasters to implement the next phase of its distribution center project. The addition of a Vectura Storage & Retrieval Machine is the next step in a series of planned projects to match the company?s distribution capabilities with the growth of its overall business.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters? entire material handling system has been based on a phased approach. Back in 2004, Diamond Phoenix was hired to design and integrate a state-of-the-art material handling system for the company?s new distribution center in Waterbury, Vermont. The fully integrated system includes automated conveyors, pick-to-light for split and full case order picking, a high speed sortation system, and the DiamondWare Warehouse Execution System WES™ 3.0. According to the plan, expansions of the material handling system would take place as the specialty coffee business grew.

Because of its sustained growth over the last few years, Green Mountain is now moving on to the next phase of the project - the installation of a Vectura Storage & Retrieval Machine. The new system will expand storage capabilities and throughput capacities by automating the storage and retrieval process for pallets of coffee. Installation of the Vectura is expected to be complete by early fall 2006.

?We are pleased to be a long-standing, valued partner with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. This next step in the planned expansion of their distribution facility will elevate Green Mountain?s customer service to the next level. The installation of the new Vectura SRM will provide greater capacity in both storage and throughput.? said Larry Strayhorn, President of Diamond Phoenix.
